The provincial government of Albay has allocated P10 million to purchase medicines for local government-run hospitals.
Governor Noel Rosal said the fund ensures a steady supply of medicines as the year-end approaches and budgets tighten.
The province manages eight government hospitals that will benefit from the procurement.
The move aims to address ongoing medicine shortages in these health facilities.
Rosal emphasized that this initiative reflects the provincial government’s commitment to providing quality medical services.
