The Philippine Consulate General in New York stated that it has not received any verified reports of Filipinos being affected by the plane crash in Philadelphia.
The consulate is actively coordinating with Filipino community groups and local authorities to confirm if any Filipino nationals were impacted.
It assured the public that assistance will be provided if needed.
The crash involved a Learjet 55 executive plane that went down in a densely populated area, damaging homes and vehicles.
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker said there were no confirmed fatalities yet, while former U.S. President Donald Trump expressed condolences and praised first responders.
