The iconic Pinoy Big Brother house in Quezon City will close after 21 years, as the reality show prepares to move to a new location.
ABS-CBN’s head of TV Production, Laurenti Dyogi, confirmed the news during a farewell gathering with staff, hosts, and executives.
The original house, built in 2005 for P15 million, was meant to last only five years but stood for over two decades, featuring bedrooms, a garden, a pool, and 26 cameras operating 24/7.
The lot has been sold, though ABS-CBN secured a short lease extension to finish the “PBB Celebrity Collab” editions with GMA 7.
Dyogi said fans should anticipate a fresh experience for new housemates, with the new house location to be revealed soon, along with open auditions for the upcoming season.
