President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited Cebu on November 7 to assess the damage caused by Typhoon Tino.
He conducted an aerial inspection and visited Tiltilon Elementary School in Liloan, which was serving as an evacuation center for around 126 families.
Marcos met with typhoon victims receiving relief goods, while the Department of Health provided medical checks and vaccinations to prevent disease outbreaks.
Tino has killed at least 188 people, with over a hundred still missing, prompting Marcos to declare a state of national calamity.
The country is now preparing for another tropical cyclone, Severe Tropical Storm Fung-wong, expected to intensify and possibly hit northern or central Luzon soon.
