Grab Philippines is implementing measures to ease holiday travel, including free airport transfers from NAIA Terminal 3 to One Ayala on three consecutive weekends in December.
The ride-hailing company warned that holiday traffic could extend trip times by up to 25% and expects demand for services to rise by 36% in the fourth quarter.
Grab is also promoting group rides that allow up to three passengers to share a trip, reducing the number of separate bookings and congestion at airport bays.
Additionally, the company launched the Sabay Sakay point-to-point carpool system in Metro Manila, co-developed with the Department of Transportation, to streamline commutes on busy routes.
Grab is also expanding its food delivery options with a party platter feature to efficiently handle bulk orders, aiming to maintain service accessibility despite high holiday demand.
