The measures aim to ease the financial burden on passengers while oil prices remain unstable.
The DOTr plans free rides on key routes and fast-tracked fuel subsidies for qualified PUV drivers and operators.
Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez also consulted toll operators to explore possible toll discounts for motorists.
The department is coordinating with local governments, transport cooperatives, and PUV operators to ensure swift and efficient implementation of the program.
