BACOLOD LAUNCHES HOTLINE CENTER FOR BASIC GOVERNMENT SERVICES

Bacolod City on Monday launched the BCD Hotline, a centralized call center aimed at quickly addressing residents’ concerns about basic government services.

The hotline at (034) 479-6100 will operate seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., with 10 agents handling inquiries, follow-ups, appointments, and complaints.

Mayor Greg Gasataya said the initiative allows residents to use one number to reach the city government for various concerns.

Services covered include health programs, scholarship and social assistance, garbage collection, traffic management, infrastructure, permits and licenses, and civil registry services.

Callers will receive a reference number to track their concerns online, while emergency cases can still be reported through the city’s geofenced 911 Emergency Response Hotline.
