San Miguel Beermen center June Mar Fajardo officially joined the PBA’s elite 10,000-point club on Wednesday, Oct. 21, during the team’s final elimination game against NLEX at the Ynares Center.
The 6-foot-10 center reached the milestone with a jump hook at the 2:21 mark of the first quarter.
Fajardo became the 19th player in league history to score 10,000 career points, joining legendary scorers led by fellow Cebuano Ramon Fernandez.
He is the latest player to reach the milestone since Jayson Castro did so in May.
Needing only five points before the game, Fajardo scored 12 in the first half as San Miguel trailed NLEX, 60-68.
