UNDAS TRAVEL RUSH EXPECTED TO DRAW 4 MILLION AIRPORT PASSENGERS

The Bureau of Immigration and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines will deploy additional personnel from October 30 to November 3 as airports prepare for the Undas travel rush.

CAAP expects passenger traffic to reach 4 million this year, up from 3.7 million in 2025.

Authorities will implement stricter security checks, set up help desks, and keep rapid response teams ready to address delays and eGate disruptions.

Passengers are advised to arrive early, prepare travel documents, and check airport advisories before their trips.

The BI also encourages eligible frequent travelers to use eGates to help speed up immigration processing.
