The Philippine National Police (PNP) assured the public it is ready to maintain peace and order during the “Trillion Peso March” on November 30.
Acting PNP Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the police will exercise “maximum tolerance” for peaceful protesters and “zero tolerance” for violence or unlawful acts.
Authorities placed the entire police force on full alert and have deployed at least 167 personnel in Mendiola, with broader security measures still being finalized.
The PNP reminded participants to follow police instructions, avoid prohibited items, and respect one another to ensure a safe and orderly rally.
Motorists and nearby residents were warned to expect heavier traffic and consult official advisories for possible detours and checkpoints.
