Laguna First District Rep. Ann Matibag said her office is ready to cooperate with any investigation into alleged irregularities in projects in her district.
She challenged Davao City Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte to submit his claimed documents and videos showing possible anomalies to the proper authorities.
Duterte earlier said he had videos involving projects in San Pedro, Laguna allegedly linked to contractors Pacifico “Curlee” Discaya and Cezarah “Sarah” Discaya.
Matibag also stressed that her duties as a lawmaker are separate from those of her husband, NBI Director Melvin Matibag, who she said has no role in her congressional office.
She called for official records and evidence to be examined and for investigations to proceed with due process.
