Sonny Angara directed the Department of Education offices and schools to help qualified junior and senior high school learners apply for the August 2026 Career Service Examination.
The move follows the Civil Service Commission recognition of K to 12 completers for first-level government eligibility.
Angara said the initiative aims to provide students with clearer pathways to government careers and public service.
Schools were instructed to provide information, review materials, and preparation sessions for interested applicants.
The examination is scheduled on Aug. 9, 2026, while applications will run from May 14 to June 10.
