The Benitez Million Pickleball Cup, one of the biggest pickleball tournaments in Negros, will offer a total prize pool of P1 million and is expected to draw around 800 athletes from across the Philippines.
Hosted by Negros Occidental third district Rep. Javier Miguel Benitez, the tournament will be held from Oct. 16 to 18 at Paddle City in Bacolod City.
The competition will feature men’s and women’s doubles in Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Executive 50+, and Open categories, following USA Pickleball rules.
Organizers said the event aims to promote pickleball, sportsmanship, wellness, and community development in Negros.
Part of the registration fee will be donated to the Negrense Volunteers for Change’s Mingo Meals program, which provides affordable food support to malnourished children in poor communities.
