The DSWD said the second tranche of UPLIFT cash aid for eligible low-income SSS members will be released on Oct. 16.
Qualified beneficiaries receive ₱2,000 per month for 6 months, totaling ₱12,000.
Newly identified beneficiaries may receive both the first and second tranches on the same date if they meet the requirements and have updated their DAEM by Oct. 5.
The DSWD reminded beneficiaries to keep their disbursement details updated to avoid payment delays.
It also warned against scammers and said official UPLIFT communications will be sent through the MySSS app.
