The Department of Information and Communications Technology and the Presidential Communications Office are investigating the cause of the disruption affecting the PCO and Official Gazette websites.
The DICT’s National Computer Emergency Response Team is leading the probe to determine whether maintenance, system updates, or other factors caused the incident.
The website disruption reportedly began on May 19 at around 3 p.m. and was fully restored by noon on May 20.
Authorities warned users that slower page loading times may still occur as system optimization continues.
The DICT said more details will be released once verified information becomes available.
