President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met with FedEx executives in Singapore to discuss efforts to strengthen the Philippines as a regional logistics and trade hub.
The talks focused on the company’s continued partnership with the Philippines and opportunities in logistics, e-commerce, and supply chain sectors.
FedEx said it is grateful for the government’s support as its Philippine operations continue to grow to nearly 40 flights per week.
The company is also expanding its Clark Gateway Hub in Pampanga to more than 78,000 square meters, with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2028.
Marcos said investments such as FedEx’s expansion will create more opportunities for Filipino businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises, to reach global markets.
