Kathryn Bernardo will soon join the ranks of Filipino celebrities with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds, as the Hong Kong branch has announced plans to unveil her statue next year.
She follows icons like Manny Pacquiao, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray, whose figures are also displayed in Hong Kong, while Lea Salonga’s figure is at the Singapore branch.
The honor is especially meaningful since Kathryn’s hit film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” was shot in Hong Kong, and its sequel is the highest-grossing Filipino film to date.
Kathryn expressed excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, calling it a dream come true and inviting fans to visit her wax figure.
Madame Tussauds Hong Kong praised her as an inspiring artist and highlighted the significance of the Filipino market in their growing international roster of celebrities.
