Actress Kathryn Bernardo has become the fifth Filipino to be immortalized by Madame Tussauds following the unveiling of her wax figure at Glorietta in Makati ahead of its permanent display in Hong Kong.
The figure, which recreates her look at the 2023 Outstanding Asian Star Awards in Seoul, will go on public display at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong beginning July 17.
Bernardo described the honor as a reminder that Filipino talent belongs on the global stage and expressed pride in representing the country.
She joins fellow Filipinos Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray, Manny Pacquiao, and Anne Curtis in the world-famous wax museum.
The unveiling was attended by her family, friends, fans and media, with Madame Tussauds saying her addition reflects its continued recognition of Filipino excellence in entertainment and beyond.
