The provincial government of Bulacan reaffirmed its support for the arts as Vice Governor Alex Castro welcomed more than 120 local and international artists to the 13th Pulilan Mandala International Art Festival.
Held at SM Center Pulilan on May 8, the festival brought together participants from countries such as Australia, India, and France, alongside Filipino artists to promote cultural exchange and creativity.
The event, organized by the JEFARCA Arts and Historical Society Inc. with support from various government and cultural institutions, features exhibits, performances, lectures, and other artistic activities under the theme “Art, Earth, Action.”
Key figures from the arts and tourism sectors highlighted the festival’s role in fostering sustainability, heritage, and global dialogue through creative expression.
Running until May 31, the festival continues its growth from a regional celebration into an international platform for visual and performing arts.
