The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition filed by Bianca Hacintha Roque on behalf of her father, former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, challenging contempt proceedings by the House Quad Committee (Quadcom) investigating POGO-related activities. The court ruled the case moot since the contempt order against Roque was lifted on June 9, 2025, and the committee submitted its final report shortly after, ending the inquiry. With the cessation of the investigation and the expiration of the 19th Congress, the SC said no practical relief could be granted to Roque. The House probe had included issues such as extrajudicial killings, banning POGOs, misuse of dummies, and failure to file correct asset declarations. Roque’s current whereabouts remain unknown, though he continues to post on social media.
