Marcos said true equality requires not only policy changes but also shifts in societal attitudes that limit women’s roles. He also called for global unity in confronting violence against women, noting that such violence weakens communities and undermines justice. The Philippines reaffirmed its commitment to working with other nations to empower women, emphasizing that when women lead and succeed, societies and nations progress.
