The DFA urged job seekers to verify employment offers and recruitment agencies with the Department of Migrant Workers to avoid illegal or deceptive schemes.
The advisory follows reports of two Filipinos allegedly fighting for Russia in the Ukraine conflict, with one reportedly killed and another captured as a prisoner of war.
Authorities stressed that such situations put lives and welfare at grave risk and should be avoided.
