Education Secretary Sonny Angara encouraged nearly 3.7 million graduates from public and private schools nationwide to maintain their resilience as they move beyond the basic education system. He highlighted that academic skills are important, but discipline, compassion, and inner strength cultivated in school are key to long-term success. Angara praised teachers and parents for their support, noting that behind every learner’s achievement is a dedicated community. The secretary emphasized that learning to overcome setbacks in school will serve graduates well in higher education, employment, and life. End-of-school-year ceremonies are being held in nearly 48,000 public schools, marking the conclusion of the academic year and honoring the efforts of learners, teachers, and families alike.
