The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) declined to confirm reports of an alleged ICC arrest warrant against Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa but stated it is prepared to implement any legitimate court order. The warrant reportedly relates to Dela Rosa’s role in former President Duterte’s anti-drug campaign. CIDG Director Police Maj. Gen. Robert Morico II emphasized that the agency will act on any competent court order naming an individual. Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla said he received an “unofficial” copy of the ICC warrant, though other government agencies have not yet verified it. The CIDG reiterated its commitment to uphold the law while withholding comment on ongoing rumors.
