PH BAGS BRONZE AT IWUF TAOLU WORLD CUP; WONG FINISHES SIXTH

The Philippine men’s duilian team captured the country’s lone bronze medal at the 4th IWUF Taolu World Cup in Haikou, China, after scoring 9.630 points in the event.

The team of Sandrex Gainsan, Mark Lester Ragay, and Mark Anthony Polo finished behind gold medalist Iran and silver medalist Indonesia.

The Wushu Federation-Philippines praised the trio’s choreography, synchronization, and teamwork for earning a podium finish against the world’s top taolu athletes.

Meanwhile, Agatha Wong placed sixth in the women’s taijiquan event, while Jones Llabres Inso finished seventh in the men’s competition.

More than 200 athletes from 29 countries and regions competed in the two-day international tournament.
