Former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque was urged by Palace Press Officer Claire Castro to return to the Philippines and face the allegations against him.
Castro said individuals who believe they are innocent should have the courage to confront the issues and present evidence to clear their names.
She also said influence, power, or public support should not be used to avoid accusations.
The call came after DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla said Roque’s asylum request in the Netherlands had been denied, a claim Roque dismissed as fake news.
Roque is among those facing arrest warrants issued by the Angeles Regional Trial Court in May 2025 over alleged human trafficking linked to the Lucky South 99 POGO hub.
