More than 84 percent of small businesses assisted under Quezon City’s Pangkabuhayang QC (PBQC) livelihood program remain operational, according to city officials.
Since its launch in 2021, the program has helped over 70,000 residents through capital assistance, entrepreneurship training, and business development support.
Joy Belmonte said the initiative’s success is reflected in the long-term sustainability of the businesses it supports.
Applications for PBQC Phase 6 are open from June 1 to 15 for eligible micro, small, and medium enterprises.
The city said the program continues to promote entrepreneurship by combining financial assistance with mentoring and access to business networks.
