Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has been recognized as one of the country’s Top-Performing and Most Trusted City Mayors for the first quarter of 2026, according to the Boses ng Bayan Index of Governance (IOG) of the RPMD Foundation Inc.
Belmonte personally received the award after earning an 88.73% IOG rating, placing her among the top-performing mayors in the national cluster.
Former House Speaker Sonny Belmonte joined the mayor during the awarding ceremony.
Mayor Belmonte expressed her gratitude to RPMD Foundation Inc. for the recognition.
She also thanked Executive Director and Global Affairs and Political Analyst Dr. Paul Martinez, as well as Dr. Joeseff Dy of iSTORYA and 1NewsPH, for the honor.
