The University of the Philippines (UP) will host LOV3LABAN 2025, its Pride Month celebration, on June 28.
The event honors the LGBTQIA+ community and promotes inclusivity, diversity, and equality.
UP-Diliman Chancellor Edgardo Carlo Vistan, Pride Philippines Coalition convenor Vince Liban, and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte signed a memorandum of agreement for the celebration.
Belmonte expressed pride in Quezon City’s role in supporting Pride Month as a city of inclusivity.
Organizers expect over 250,000 participants this year, surpassing last year’s attendance of 220,000 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.
