Six hotels in the Philippines have received Michelin Keys, recognizing them among the world’s most outstanding hotels for exceptional guest experiences.
El Nido Resorts Lagen Island in Palawan and Raffles Makati were awarded the country’s first Michelin Keys, with Raffles Makati receiving a two-Key distinction.
Four other hotels—NUSTAR Hotel Cebu, Hotel Okura Manila, El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Island and Manami Resort in Negros Occidental—earned one Michelin Key each.
The Michelin Guide highlighted the hotels’ distinctive accommodations, locations, amenities, sustainability efforts and overall guest experiences.
The Department of Tourism said the recognitions could help strengthen the Philippine tourism brand and promote the country as a destination for exceptional stays.
