Fuel prices are expected to drop significantly next week, with gasoline projected to decrease by P12.50 to P13.50 per liter and diesel by P4.30 to P4.50.
Industry estimates attributed the expected rollback to lower crude oil prices and improved supply outlook amid easing concerns over the Iran conflict.
Jetti Petroleum president Leo Bellas said the gasoline reduction could mark the country’s first double-digit rollback.
The final price adjustments will depend on the outcome of the last trading day, before oil companies announce changes on Monday.
The Department of Energy may also regulate price adjustments under the country’s national energy emergency.
