The Bureau of Customs (BOC) collected a record-high P97.463 billion in October 2026, the highest monthly collection in the agency’s history despite a decline in import volume.
Its January to October collections also reached a record P853.662 billion, exceeding the 10-month revenue target by P7.140 billion.
Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno attributed the achievement to stricter monitoring, improved administration, and the efforts of personnel nationwide.
The agency aims to reach its P1.011-trillion annual revenue target by collecting more than P157 billion in the remaining two months.
The BOC said it will strengthen revenue monitoring and enforcement while ensuring proper payment of duties and taxes.
