Regal Entertainment Inc. has defended Ivana Alawi amid online rumors that she was causing delays on the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins.
A viral Reddit post claimed the cast and crew were frustrated with Ivana, alleging production had been slow due to her.
Regal called the claims “entirely untrue,” stating the film wrapped on schedule and praising Alawi’s professionalism and dedication.
The studio also clarified that it solely developed, produced, and financed the project, urging the public to rely only on its official updates.
Ivana stars alongside Richard Gutierrez, Manilyn Reynes, Dustin Yu, and Matt Lozano in her segment of the 17th Shake, Rattle & Roll installment.
