Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi will star in the upcoming Filipino romance drama series Love Is Never Gone, premiering exclusively on Prime Video on May 8.
Set and filmed in Morocco, the series marks the first Filipino show to be shot in the North African country, where Alawi’s father is from.
Garcia plays Teo, whose life is upended by Yana (Alawi), a thief entangled with a crime syndicate, leading to betrayal and his wrongful imprisonment.
Years later, Teo returns to the Philippines and uncovers secrets about Yana, now living as Gem, and the powerful family connected to his past sacrifices.
The series also features Jameson Blake, Jane Oineza, Michael de Mesa, and Dina Bonnevie, and is directed by Emmanuel Palo and Jojo Saguin with a script by Arlene Tamayo.
