“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” winner Lella Ford openly acknowledged being a “nepo baby” during an appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda alongside her mother, actress Karla Estrada.
When asked about the label, Ford said, “Totoo naman, where’s the lie? It’s true and wala namang masama doon,” emphasizing that benefiting from nepotism is not inherently wrong.
She stressed that the advantage only becomes harmful if one relies on it without effort, adding that she is working hard to make a name for herself.
Lella, whose full name is Carmella, joined showbiz following the path of her mother and older brother, Daniel Padilla.
She signed with Star Magic last year before entering the Pinoy Big Brother house, where she competed alongside other celebrity offspring.
