The Pasig City Government will provide starter funds of ₱4,000 each to 2,746 graduates from TESDA programs and the Pasig Community Training Center to help them start businesses or find jobs.
The graduates completed their training between the second semester of 2024 and the first semester of 2025, and were recognized during a ceremony on August 14 at Ynares Sports Arena.
Aside from the cash grant, recipients will also receive starter kits and assistance with assessment fees.
Mayor Vico Sotto emphasized that these programs aim to equip residents with skills for long-term livelihood, not just temporary aid.
The city plans to expand its training offerings to include courses like driving and caregiving to further support Pasigueños’ employment opportunities.
