Malacañang has declared special non-working days in 10 areas across the Philippines to commemorate local founding and charter anniversaries.
Proclamations 793 and 794 designate February 28 as a special non-working day in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental, and Escalante City, Negros Occidental, marking their 57th and 24th charter anniversaries, respectively.
Other proclamations include February 17 for Padre Burgos, Quezon, February 21 for Araw ng Marinduque, March 6 for Gutalac, Zamboanga del Norte, and March 7 for Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
March 10 will also be a holiday in Tanauan, Batangas, while March 18 will mark Masbate’s founding anniversary.
Proclamations 802 to 804 declare special non-working days for Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, and Tabaco, Albay in celebration of their anniversaries later in March.
