The first phase of the LRT-1 Cavite extension will open this November, easing traffic and travel time for commuters. The extension adds five new stations from Baclaran to Sucat, covering six kilometers of track. It will decrease travel time by at least 30 minutes, benefiting areas like Parañaque and Pasay. The project includes 30 additional coaches, with 19 starting operations this month. The full extension will raise ridership capacity by 80,000 passengers, helping reduce traffic and improve the commuter experience.
