More than 115,000 job opportunities will be offered to Filipino job seekers as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) holds nationwide job fairs for the Labor Day celebration on May 1, 2026.
The initiative will be conducted in at least 88 venues across the country, mostly in malls and accessible public areas, to connect employers and applicants more efficiently.
A total of 115,358 job vacancies from 1,280 local employers have been confirmed so far, with more expected as additional companies join the event.
The openings span multiple industries, including retail, manufacturing, construction, BPO, and hospitality, reflecting strong demand for both skilled and entry-level workers.
DOLE said the job fairs aim to reduce unemployment and support inclusive growth by providing on-the-spot hiring opportunities and faster job matching nationwide.
