The Philippine National Police (PNP) has launched five 24/7 hotlines and assured confidentiality for tipsters who can provide information on the whereabouts of wanted Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
PNP spokesman Col. Allen Rae Co urged the senator’s family to convince him to surrender peacefully.
Malacañang denied claims of political persecution, saying the case stemmed from investigations into the drug war under former president Rodrigo Duterte.
The government has offered a ₱50-million bounty for Dela Rosa’s capture and set a deadline for his surrender.
