President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) Education and Jobs Sector Group to discuss measures to strengthen education, workforce development, and job creation.
The meeting focused on expanding artificial intelligence and digital upskilling programs, as well as implementing the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry Roadmap.
Officials also discussed initiatives to create more employment, entrepreneurship, and skills development opportunities for Filipinos.
The Presidential Communications Office said the talks emphasized stronger collaboration among the government, private sector, and academic institutions to address labor challenges.
The initiatives aim to better prepare the Filipino workforce for emerging industries and future jobs.
