Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said investigators found around 7,500 indecent photos and videos of minors in the alleged possession of Thomas Markle Sr.
He said authorities are also investigating Markle Jr., who remains a person of interest but has not been named a suspect.
Witnesses reportedly claimed that underage girls were brought to his house.
Authorities have asked the US Federal Bureau of Investigation to help identify the owners of six phones linked to the case.
Remulla said the investigation is ongoing, with further findings expected next week.
