The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) found former House Speaker Martin Romualdez not liable for the flood control anomalies, Tingog party-list Rep. Jude Acidre said.
Acidre cited the ICI referral, signed by retired Supreme Court Justice Andres Reyes, which explicitly stated there was no finding of guilt or liability against Romualdez.
The report, submitted to the Office of the Ombudsman, has not yet been made public.
Acidre also criticized Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco for allegedly misleading the public regarding impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte.
He urged lawmakers to stop spreading claims about financial aid or project allocations tied to support for impeachment.
