Defending champion Team Liquid Philippines was eliminated in the group stage of the 2026 Mid-Season Cup after a 2-0 loss to Peru’s Entity 7, marking the country’s earliest exit in MSC/M-Series history.
The defeat ended the Philippines’ streak of reaching the playoffs since the tournament’s inception in 2017 and resulted in Team Liquid’s worst-ever finish of 13th-16th place in an S-tier MLBB event.
Entity 7 dominated both games, capitalizing on key team fights to complete one of the tournament’s biggest upsets.
Meanwhile, Team Falcons Philippines also moved to the brink of elimination after a 2-0 loss to Indonesia’s Team Vitality in the upper bracket of Group A.
The Falcons must win their remaining matches to reach the playoffs and avoid a historic group-stage exit for both Philippine representatives.
