Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, along with their 17-year-old son Alex Jazz, hosted the first “DenJen Family Day” on March 28 in Taguig, bringing together around 50 children on the autism spectrum and their families for games, food, and bonding activities.
The event, held in partnership with the Autism Society Philippines, aimed to create a safe and welcoming space where families could feel accepted and understood.
Dennis and Jennylyn drew from their own experience raising Jazz to connect with other parents and advocate for autism awareness and support.
Beyond fun activities like magic and bubble shows, the couple emphasized building a sense of community and strengthening support networks for families.
They also delivered messages of hope, encouraging parents to stay strong and fostering understanding and compassion toward individuals on the autism spectrum.
