VILLANUEVA CALLS FOR CONCRETE SOLUTIONS IN MARCOS’ 5TH SONA

Sen. Joel Villanueva urged President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to use his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) to present concrete solutions for job creation, poverty, hunger, and education.

He said Filipinos continue to struggle with rising unemployment, inflation, and increasing hunger, making these issues urgent priorities.

Villanueva also called for stronger action to address challenges in the education sector, including classroom shortages and school violence.

The senator stressed that quality jobs are key to reducing poverty and ensuring food security.

He said the success of the SONA should be measured by its ability to improve the lives of ordinary Filipinos.
