The National Nutrition Council-National Capital Region recognized Muntinlupa City for its outstanding nutrition programs.
Mayor Ruffy Biazon received the Second Year CROWN (Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner) Maintenance Award Contender on September 11.
This award honors local government units that have consistently excelled in nutrition programs by winning the Green Banner Award for three consecutive years.
Muntinlupa also earned accolades for Best LGU in Mandatory Food Fortification, Nutrition-Sensitive Programs, and Nutrition Investment.
Additionally, the city’s Nutrition Committee and local participants won prizes in regional contests, including the Nutri-Duo Cooking Vlog Contest and the NCR Regional Webby Awards.
