Domestic fuel prices are expected to rise again next week amid market uncertainty following the expiration of the interim US-Iran agreement.
Diesel prices could increase by P1.75 to P2.25 per liter, while gasoline may rise by P1 to P1.50 per liter on Aug. 25.
The estimates could still change depending on the final trading day.
Rising risks to Russian oil supplies and concerns over Middle East crude availability are also pushing prices higher.
Despite the expected hike, the Philippines had an average fuel inventory equivalent to 58.34 days of supply as of Aug. 14.
