Former Abang Lingkod Party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen Paduano denied social media posts falsely linking him to a statement blaming President Marcos for a recent clash between government troops and the NPA in Mindoro.
Paduano said the posts were fabricated and did not originate from him, emphasizing that they contradict his congressional record supporting national defense and security.
He highlighted his legislative work to strengthen the Armed Forces of the Philippines and combat insurgency.
The former lawmaker said he is considering legal action against those responsible for spreading the false information.
Paduano also urged the public to exercise caution and critical judgment when encountering online content.
