AirAsia Philippines is launching direct flights from Manila to Hanoi and Da Nang starting March 20, offering four weekly services to Vietnam, a rising Southeast Asian tourism hotspot.
The airline aims to provide Filipinos with more travel options and better regional connectivity, with afternoon-to-evening flights for passenger convenience.
Vietnam has become a top destination for Filipino tourists, welcoming over 308,000 visitors from the Philippines between January and October 2025, far outpacing arrivals in the opposite direction.
AirAsia will compete with established carriers like Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines, which already operate multiple flights to Hanoi and Da Nang.
Promotional fares for the new routes start at P888 per way, with travel available from March 20 to October 25.
